The Nation Discussion Group

Do you read The Nation and wish you could discuss it with others?
Do you subscribe to The Nation and wish you had time to read it?
Have you heard of The Nation and want to find out what it says?
Do you want to discuss progressive alternatives to the daily news and the limited choices offered by our politicians and pundits?

The Nation discussion group is dedicated to learning about and discussing current political issues, as reported in The Nation magazine.

The Nation is the largest-circulation political weekly in the U.S. Its politics are progressive, and its in-depth analyses of current events and issues go well beyond what can be found in U.S. newspapers and nightly TV news programs.

The Nation will not be the organ of any party, sect, or body. It will, on the contrary, make an earnest effort to bring to the discussion of political and social questions a really critical spirit, and to wage war upon the vices of violence, exaggeration, and misrepresentation by which so much of the political writing of the day is marred.
